These small and friendly classes offer an opportunity to make new friends while focusing on your own well-being.
Current classes, private group courses and 1:1 sessions include:
Looking to do something beautiful with your baby?
Does your baby suffer from wind, colic or constipation?
Would you like them to sleep for longer?
Come and bond with your baby and learn techniques to soothe and settle and help with many digestive discomforts.
Each class has been uniquely designed to enhance your bond whilst helping with your baby’s development (including developing their body awareness, flexibility, coordination, early communication skills and social interaction) and supporting you in your journey as a parent.
Long before babies can speak, they communicate with the world around them through touch. It is their first language and one of the most developed senses at birth. The power of touch to soothe, calm and comfort are instinctive.
Baby massage is simply an extension of this natural impulse and provides a unique way for you to communicate your love to your baby. My baby massage sessions are suitable from four/six weeks until crawling. I offer private group courses and 1:1 baby massage sessions too.
As a certified Baby Massage Instructor, I have undertaken training with ‘To Baby and Beyond’ who are accredited with the CThA, IPTI, IICT and the Royal College of Midwives. My training allows me to adapt the routine I teach, where I can tailor sessions to meet the needs of your baby.
How do the sessions work?
The ‘routine’ is broken down into manageable sections, and during the sessions you will learn a full sequence of strokes to cover the whole body, helping you become confident to massage your baby at home. The massage element for each session lasts about 35-40 minutes. You will receive a copy of the massage routine, with pictures of the massage strokes, and a bottle of massage oil. Mats are provided although you will need to bring a towel and a blanket along with you.
Baby Massage Health Benefits:
A unique class which blends postnatal exercise and Pilates with elements of baby massage and baby yoga.
Along with all the joy and excitement a new baby brings, this time is also one of the hardest. Finding time to bond with your baby, relax and de-stress, feel healthier, deal with aches and pains, and get ‘back in shape’ while protecting your postnatal body are common challenges faced by many new mums. Yoga-Cise classes are designed with these aims in mind.
My Postnatal Yoga-Cise class for you and your baby runs in on-going blocks of four-six weekly sessions. I offer group classes at an organised venue, and I also run private group courses and 1:1 Yoga-Cise sessions too.

Who can join?
Anyone can join my Yoga-Cise sessions as no previous experience is necessary.
Sessions are suitable from when you have both had your 6/8-week GP check-up until babies are actively crawling. (It is advisable to wait until you are 10-12 weeks postnatal following a caesarean section.) As always, the most important thing is to listen to your body. If you are in any discomfort, just wait a few weeks, and there is also no pressure for you or baby to join in with all the movements during class.
